hunters
in a sense, hunters are the ones who keep sérénité running as smoothly as it does. they're the ones who go out into the world beyond the walls to gather supplies as their needed and they're also the ones to go out in search of any other survivors if they hear any sort of rumors. they're smart and cunning, though know when they've been beaten.
healers
although a healer is generally assigned to a group of hunters when they leave sérénité to go outside the walls, generally they never leave the hospital. they're the ones who care for the sick and injured and they evaluate just how bad the injuries are. they're also generally the people to go in and destroy the brain of the people who die within the city before the person can reanimate.
guardians
the gardians of sérénité are almost like the police force for the newly built city. they patrol and enforce laws brought on by the council. they protect the borders and are generally the ones called in if a person reanimates after death. though they rarely do have to take on a walker, they're definitely trained to.
civilians
civilians are just that, civilians. if there weren't walkers in the world their lives wouldn't change all that much. they work normal jobs and have normal families with normal problems. well, as normal as you can possibly get with the thread of walkers always on the horizon.
strategists
they call themselves strategists but really they're just researchers hoping to find a way to better deal with the walker threat. they run expiraments, examine bodies and do just about everything in their power to better understand the virus and what makes it tick. their working on a cure but so far they haven't had any luck.
outsiders
as the name suggests, outsiders are those who don't live within the walls of sérénité. instead they tend to fend for themselves, dealing with walkers on an every day basis. maybe they're headed to sérénité because they heard rumors of a safe haven for survivors or maybe they're out there for more nefarious purposes. either way, they don't exist within the walls.
