the old hospital itself has pretty much fallen into disrepair but it was about the only area claimed from new orleans outside of the quarter. they're about the best you're going to get in this world. the healers are located here and they'll pretty much do anything to make sure that the people of sérénité stay alive and healthy.

it may not look like much from the outside but this cafe serves as much more than just the headquarters for the civilians. they serve a mean gumbo and their sweet tea is amazing. they tend to make the majority of food for people living in the city.

not exactly your typical research facility. muerta researches pretty much extensively walkers and how to best deal with them. their working on a cure or at least something to slow the progress of the bite but they aren't making much progress. this is the headquarters for the strategists.

fort la hire is actually anything but a real fort. the headquarters for the guardians, it serves as a place for training and education for the younger members of the group as well as a place for the older members to meet up and discuss protecting the city.

long since abandoned when sérénité was closed off from the rest of new orleans, the stations now is mainly used as a checkpoint for the guardians when they do their rounds. sometimes, however, the local teens sneak away to have some fun and just forget their worries.

located extremely close to the hospital, toulouse street apartments are usually inhabited by the healers who work there. they work long hours and tend to sleep in some of the hospital's rooms but they tend to keep apartments here as well. outsiders can apply to live here but the healers will always be given precedent over others.

majority of the people who live in the bourbon street apartments are civilians due to the central location. they're right next to the cafe and in the heart of the city. this keeps them protected and in a great location. there are members of other groups located here but they're definitely in the minority.

located on the old conti street these apartments are mainly the home to member of the strategists. they aren't the best apartments in the area but most of the people who work in the research facility aren't there often. they spend most of the time in their offices anyways.

located fairly close to the border, the barracks street apartments are only for the guardians due to the location. unlike most of the other apartment buildings, for their safety, outside groups aren't allowed to apply for living spaces here.
